Our Story

A symbol of hope, born from a community’s need

ESAF Hospital’s story began as a response to the high number of deaths caused by snakebites in Thachampara. ESAF took over the hospital in 2007 with a vision to provide quality medical care to people regardless of their economic or social status. In the beginning, it had only a single doctor and a dental department.

Today, the hospital has grown into a 125-bed facility offering a wide range of medical services. Many patients come from families with limited incomes — and for them, ESAF Hospital’s affordable pricing and compassionate staff represent a lifeline.

Under the guidance of ESAF Foundation, the hospital has become not just a healthcare facility but a symbol of transformation — enabling families to dream of healthier, better futures.
